There’s a right time for everything

Dear Creatrix,

How are you doing today?

Is your bedroom all set up for great sleep?

Are you committing to ruling over your devices from now on and not to let them rule over you any more?

What else have you learned, or what stood out to you the most in this chapter?

Before I started creating this course, I did not realize how much rest and valuing myself are connected, so there was a real shift taking place for myself over the course of these past three weeks.

When I opened this chapter in the CREATRIX School, I was still embarrassed to prioritize my needs, to say that I won’t eat after six, to say when I needed time for myself, and to even just value these things for myself.

So I’m very grateful for the opportunity to lead the CREATRIX School, to learn so much on the way, and that you are here with me, and beginning to become the CREATRIX of your life as well.

And I do hope that you share all that you learn and practice for yourself with those around you, who might want to live a more self-determined, happier and freer life themselves.

Today we are going to add one more thing to our raised awareness when it comes to rest and sleep, and that is to become conscious of the rhythm of the year.

The CREATRIX School is set up, so that within a year, we can work through all relevant topics in our lives and bring balance, clarity, love and confidence to them.

Each topic, each chapter, is designed to take you through the process of bringing clarity, confidence and connection to a different key area of your life within four weeks.

Of course, it might take a bit more than four weeks, when you look at a new topic for the first time, and depending on your personal schedule, when joining the membership programme you can really take as much time on each topic as you like.

But the curriculum is designed so that eventually, we can keep this up as a rhythm, making sure we bring and keep the balance in all areas of our lives, each year.

As this is the first year of the CREATRIX School, and I’m creating each topic and chapter as we go along, it’s been taking me a bit longer, as I also needed to take some breaks in between to be able to create valuable content.

But nonetheless, the content of the CREATRIX School is designed to go with the energies of the seasons and the natural rhythm of the year, so we can easily flow through life and the year, together.

A Year in the Creatrix School

1. Self-Actualize! // SELF
2. Reach Out! // COMMUNITY
3. Eat Well! // FOOD
4. Think Well! // MIND
5. Feel Well! // MOVEMENT
6. Relax!! // FAMILY
7. Believe! // PURPOSE
8. Connect! // FRIENDS
9. Ground Yourself! // HOME
10. Balance! // GROWTH
11. Energize! // PELATIONSHIPS
12. Integrate! // REST

From looking at the topics of the CREATRIX School, you can already get a bit of an idea about the different energies of each month, or moon cycle.

In today’s lesson, however, we will go even deeper and look at the seasons, our calendar and how it relates to the lunar or moon phases to see how we can harness the energy of the sun, and the seasons, and the moon.

Just like we already began to adjust our rhythm to the natural rhythm of the day, in this chapter, we will now see how we can also harness the energies of the year to support us best in our lives.

Family – Week 1 – Pt. 1

Welcome to a New Chapter in the CREATRIX School

In this chapter of the CREATRIX School (or 4-week course) we will explore how we can transform our family relationships and create new possibilities for ourselves and future generations.

Today, we start by opening up to the topic and finding out about how we really feel about our families.

Family – Week 1 – Pt. 2

Family – Week 1 – Pt. 2

What makes a family?

In this lesson, we begin to think more about the possibilities we have when it comes to creating the families we would like to have.

And this is the aim of this course – to find confidence in creating the life you wish for, not the one that you feel is expected of you, or to feel like because you didn’t have certain things growing up, that you can’t have them now either.

We begin looking for what it will take for you to have everything you desire.

Family – Week 1 – Pt. 3

Family – Week 1 – Pt. 3

What are your fondest (childhood) memories?

In this lesson, we look at how our culture might have formed our beliefs about what a family should look like, and how we can change them, if we don’t think they serve us any more.

We also look at the things we like to keep, that we are fond of, and that we wish to honour and cultivate.

Family – Week 2 – Pt. 1

Your Inner Child & You

In this lesson, we start working with the Inner Child Archetypes, and we look at how we can process feelings and forgive ourselves and others so that we can move on with more freedom.

What will it take for you to go from feeling sad about something, to feeling like you can change it?

Family – Week 2 – Pt. 2

Family – Week 2 – Pt. 2

Your Inner Child & You pt. II

In this lesson, we see how we can use the Inner Child Archetypes to empower ourselves, to see what we would like to work on, to live a more balanced and happier life, and how we can learn what needs to be learned, and heal what needs to be healed, and transform our view of the past and begin to see it as the fuel for the future we want to create now.

Let’s play a game

What would happen if you were to imagine that you, your highest self, chose this life for you?
Why could this be true?

In this lesson, we explore what it feels like to look at our lives, our struggles from a different perspective and see if that can enable us to feel more empowered about the choices we are going to make from now on.

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 1

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 1

Welcome to a New Chapter in the CREATRIX School

Starting today, and for the next four weeks, we will think about how we can be at our best with others and how we can use our unique abilities, gifts and talents to contribute to the greater good of all.

As the first week of each chapter in the CREATRIX School is all about assessing where we are, so we can let go of what doesn’t serve us any more, and invite more of what we do want, we start this chapter by looking at our hopes for the future of our world as well as the experiences we’ve made in community so far.

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 2

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 2

What do we mean when we say communities, and why do we need them?

There are different ways for communities to be organized. Sometimes, all people are equal and come together to organize things as equals.

Sometimes, there’s an initiator, or someone who finances the project and other people who organize and implement it.

Sometimes, there are some people who are paid and other people who volunteer.

What are the different kinds of projects or communities you have been involved in, or would like to get involved in, in your life?

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 3

Community – Week 1 – Pt. 3

How do you envision our future?

It’s easy to think there are so many problems in this world – what am I supposed to do about it – I can’t do anything but make the best of it – and that’s true to some extent – but also not entirely.

Because we’re not just here to get by. We’re not just here to arrange ourselves with what is already here – we are life and a part of the great symphony of life that’s playing right now, in this moment, and we get to contribute to it.
