how to work with Verena’S Archetype oracle cards

The journey of a thousand steps, starts underneath your feet, and the journey to everything you wish for in life starts with remembering who you really are.

The Wheel of Colours helps you remember the choices your soul made for you so you can learn and contribute in the best possible way during your time here on earth. Remembering these choices now, allows you to become your true & authentic self and to thrive – joyfully.

But to be able to live these choices, you also have to unlearn all the harmful and limiting beliefs you’ve accumulated while growing up in an unhealed world, in the matrix.

Working with these archetype oracle cards can help you here, as the archetypes show you the roles you play, the characters you take on, that keep you at a distance from your true & authentic self, and with that from true, unconditional love, abundance and freedom – all of which only comes easily, once you start rediscovering and living as your authentic self and start discovering and using your unique gifts & and talents more and more.

✨ There’s no better time than now to start living the life you were always meant to live. 🔮

Verena’s Archetype Oracle Card Deck

Source

Our journey back to ourselves, starts at our origin, represented by the two Source Archetypes – the beginning of all life. The Source Archetype represents the life energy in all of us, in all that exists, and the Destroyer Archetype represents the absence of life – the contrast we need to experience life.

They remind us of the dichotomy beneath all that exists, and how we can constantly choose between contributing to life and expansion – or stopping it.

These two cards are incredibly powerful – and so are your choices. In any moment, you can choose between love and fear – expansion and destruction. Can you become more aware of this choice in your day-to-day life? And choose life, love and expansion more often?

When you pull one of these cards, you know exactly what you’ve been choosing – so far.

Magical Helpers

The magical helpers are our galactic support team. While these beings are currently not in human form, they, like us, come from source energy, are a part of ourselves in a different form, and they are happy to support us, while we are here on earth.

Because even though it can be difficult to wake up to the fact that we lived a big part of our lives ignoring or unaware of our real galactic origin, and that we’re more than we were raised to believe, once we begin to remember our true selves – we also become aware of this help, and that it is always available to us.

Realizing this can be a real game changer, as it can take us beyond our limited, ego-driven, human perspective, and can allow us to see things from a much broader, kinder and wiser perspective.

When you pull one of these cards, you know exactly who is available to help you in that moment.

Relational archetypes

The relational archetypes invite us to reflect on our relationships – to ourselves, our partners and our friends and family.

Finding clarity on the roles we play here gives us the opportunity to make more conscious and wiser choices from now on, it helps us to recognize our responsibility, and shows us where we find true connection, happiness, soul-fulfilment and understanding.

Inner child

The Source Archetypes invited us into the magical, unconditionally loving, creative realms, that we can connect to, whenever we wish to find strength and support in life. And from here we can dive into our past and present and look at our inner life, to heal what needs to be healed and move on more lovingly and more powerfully.

Half of the inner child archetypes help us understand the roles we started playing as children as a response to our environment – so that we could survive, and are waiting to be integrated and healed.

The other half, the magical, the divine, the curious and nature child were ours from the start and are just waiting to take the lead again – as they allow us to see possibility instead of limitation, and can guide us into our true and magical and expansive life.

When you pull one of these cards, you know either that it’s time to lovingly heal an aspect of yourself or to allow your true divine, natural, curious, magic to surface again.

Family

Are you a mother, father, zaza or grandparent? And if not yet, would you like to be?

But independent of the roles you actually play in life, the family archetype cards help us connect to the different energies associated with these roles. Maybe you need to re-mother or re-father yourself in a certain situation, or you need to bring in grandparent or zaza (gender-neutral, playful, supportive caring and loving) energy.

When you pull one of these cards, it’s time to bring out your inner parent or grandparent.

Friends

To thrive in life, we don’t just need to remember our source, and our magical helpers, re-parent ourselves, and heal our inner children, we also have to learn how to build strong relationships outside of love and family – and this is where the friendship archetypes come in.

Because our friendships can have different qualities as well. Finding clarity about these roles and recognizing them in our daily lives helps us to bring balance into our lives – because once we know what we are currently missing, we can start to invite that in to feel fully supported.

What are your friendships like? Are you a mentor? A mentee? A companion or competitor? And how can you make sure to live all of these qualities?

When you pull one of these cards, you know which role to step into.

Romance

In our most intimate relationships, we also play different roles and the key here is to not judge ourselves for what we recognize in ourselves – but to accept the roles, we have fallen into, because of how our experiences have shaped us.

Once we have accepted where we are, we can then start to slowly reimagine ourselves – so we can create more of what we actually wish for in life.

At a first glance – where do you recognize yourself?

Occupational Archetypes

The occupational archetypes help us to make wise choices about the ways in which we want to contribute to this world.

Often we start off with a career path that seems acceptable, but that doesn’t actually fulfil our heart’s and soul’s desire. Eventually, unhappiness creeps in, to help us realize that we have the capacity to change and can actually start doing what we came here to do. Something that corresponds with our soul’s wishes for ourselves and our lives, and that is of service to the whole universe.

As humans, we experience limitations, and we might think that we can’t have a certain occupation because of the way we were raised, what we’ve learned, because of our racial, geographical, gender or class background – but it’s time to free ourselves from these limitations and come into soul alignment – and the occupational cards are here to help with that.

As a start, you can just look at the pictures and see where your attention goes and where you feel happiness. Can you imagine yourself in these roles?

Directional

On a larger scale, we find ourselves at a turning point in the history of our planet, and that means we have an opportunity to radically re-think how we wish to structure our societies.

Not everybody is ready to take the lead and help to actively create a new earth, but some of us are, and so it helps to get clear on the role(s) we want to take on in this process – to prepare to step into them.

But the directional archetypes don’t only help on this large scale, they can also support us in everyday situations when we need to decide the direction of our personal lives, or companies, and when we need to envision, invest in, rethink or reengineer them.

When you pull one of these cards, you know that looking at your situation as a — will help you find the solution and will allow you to take the next steps.

Spiritual

Have you tried to connect to your inner exorcist — yet? Or your inner hermit? The spiritual archetypes each have a message for you and can guide you to find the answers to questions you might have inside of you.

Like the directional archetypes, the spiritual archetypes can help us find our perfect occupation, but they can also help us to step into our full power when we learn to integrate them all – because the more we can help ourselves and deepen our spiritual connection, the more independent we become and the more we feel empowered to reach out and support others as well.

Which of these are you relating to most right now?

Inspirational

We need people who can lead us in certain situations, as seen in the directional archetypes, and we need those who can bring us back to ourselves and help us connect to our spiritual side or heal our pain, as seen in the spiritual archetypes, but we also need those who inspire us through our senses, whether that is through sound, taste, vision, vibration or energy.

The inspirational archetypes are here to create and facilitate room for expansion, to reimagine ourselves, to inspire us, to touch us on a soul level and to remind us to enjoy and experience all the beauty that is always available – if only we dare to pause and look and take it all in.

When you pull one of these cards, you are invited to awaken our inner healer, or poet, or chef and to inspire yourself and others and to connect to others through their senses.

Practical

The practical archetypes help us organize our lives in practical and tangible ways.

In our families, communities and in our jobs, we might have to occasionally step into these roles to get things done and to keep us all alive, but of course, we can also make these archetypes our professions. In every society, we need to take care of ourselves and others – and as long as we eat, someone needs to wash the dishes and take out the rubbish.

Yet, today, we have an opportunity to rethink how we do this and how we value this.

Again, it is incredibly important not to judge here, as sometimes we have to serve, or to assist, to learn what we have to learn before we can step into a different role, or simply to do our part to contribute to the whole. One position is not better or worse than any other, if we see that all is necessary to proceed.

What does really harm us, in our lives, is when we try to do or be something, that we’re not (yet), instead of embracing where we are now, so that we can be present to all that is, learn what we have to learn and then move on when we are ready and the time is right. So, who will you be, today?

Pulling one of these cards, invites you to bring in mediator, or communicator, or protector energies to a situation or to your life.

Occasional Archetypes

The occasional archetypes can be empowering or disempowering, depending on how they are used. They each come with a light and a shadow side, though some of them are more obviously negative than others.

After looking at the source archetypes, and magical helpers, who help us navigate this earthly realm gracefully and after investigating our relationships and occupations, and possible issues with judgement when it comes to these roles, the occasional archetypes help us remember to balance our lives – to explore and to rest, to contribute, and make space for others.

Once we do this, we can all be healthy and thrive and relax knowing that we’re all working together, each doing their part, and we will begin to see that no one has to take on more or less than they can handle.

So, let’s start (or continue) to base our lives on trust and love.

Expansive

The expansive archetypes help us expand and evolve collectively.

To contribute to the expansion of this universe, it helps each one of us to learn how to step into these archetypes occasionally.

However, if we feel like we always have to be the liberator, the guide, the innovator, or any of these, than we might have to take a step back and relax, to not burn out.

And if we feel like there’s no one to take our space – then we might have to relax even more and allow for others to fill the space in their own ways, or we can help them get there.

Transcendental

The transcendental archetypes also help us to expand, but more on an individual level.

These archetypes help us to figure something out, and once we know it, we can teach it to others if we like, or we can just use it to contribute in the best possible way to everything that we do.

But just like with the expansive archetypes, it helps to become aware that we should not remain in these roles for too long or identify with these archetypes too much, as they can bring our lives out of balance if we stay stuck in them.

If you pull one of these cards, you are invited to look at the light and the shadow side, and to see which one you need to see, to best contribute to your current situation.

Destructive

Currently, our world, the matrix, is built on destructive patterns and the destructive archetypes can help us heal out of these old ways – so we can create a different future for ourselves and the next generations.

In an unconscious state, we do all the things that don’t actually serve us, and it can be difficult to break with these patterns because they are just so comfortable and familiar.

Yet, every time we do, we open up to more love, freedom and possibility – and whatever we heal now, we won’t limit us any more in the future. And that’s quite exciting, right?

When you pull one of these cards, you are invited to look at the shadow and the light and to choose – so that you can create the best possible outcome for yourself.

Oppressive

The oppressive archetypes help us to remember who we are, they show us our deep, long, dark shadows and invite us to resolve what is blocking us from what we really want.

The bully was or is often bullied themselves, the hater actually hates themselves, the tyrant just wants to be loved and doesn’t know how to show it, and the avenger has not yet realized that there’s no enemy but the one within.

Whenever we identify with one of these, we know we have some healing work to do and if we pull one of these cards, they remind us of something we might need to heal, that we are not even be aware of in that situation, but bringing in awareness, love and light is always the solution.

🌈 You have the power to create your reality.

Hi, I'm Verena, and I've been working on this Oracle Cards Deck for more than three years.✨

It all started when I learned about Carolyn Myss' work with Archetypes, which is truly fascinating and meaningful and so empowering - yet, I also felt excluded, because of the heteronormative perspective.

So, I decided to find a way to build on the powerful work done by her and Jung and others, and add a queer perspective, so that everyone can feel included, also factoring in the enormous shifts in consciousness of the past decades.

And I'm incredibly proud of the result.

Using these 'new' archetypes can help us to bring light to our shadows, discover our strengths and powers, beyond gender norms, and start thinking about how we can best use our unique gifts and powers to contribute in a fulfilling and joyful way to the new earth.

Because this is our life, and we are co-creating the world we live in. So we might as well do it happily, powerfully and consciously.

And this is one of my joyful contributions to it.

I’m so thankful for the email you sent yesterday about being a conscious digital citizen. 🙂 It really sparked my day and I must have agreed with every word you said […] maybe even more as I am opening up to start presenting my thoughts and work online to wider audiences, it is so important to be concise about adequate behaviour in the digital world and lead by example 😉 Thank you for reminding me of that! 🙂 😉 – Luisa
