How do you connect to the world around you?
Who and what do you connect to?
That’s the question for the Generous Life Photo Contest: Connection! in August 2023.
As humans, we are not only connected to each other, we are connected to all that is.
We are made from stardust, composed of the four elements: fire, water, earth and air, fuelled by life energy and here as souls to experience life in form.
But how do we connect to each other, to nature, the elements, plants, animals, stones, landscapes or the universe?
And how can we capture that connection in a photograph?
This month we talk about overcoming loneliness, how to make new friends and deepen our connection to ourselves, other people and the world around us in the CREATRIX School.
And this seems like a great reason to reach out, connect and start a new photo competition.
Photo Contest DETAILS
Photo submissions can be in black and white or colour and should be in a square format, .jpg, with a resolution of 1200x1200px and not be larger than 300kb.
The Submission deadline is September 10th, 2023.
Email 1 (!) photo, plus up to 800 words to tell a little bit about the image and what it means to you, to mail [at] verenaspilker.com.
You don’t have to be a professional photographer to submit.
What I’m looking for in submissions is a unique view, a special moment, an unseen perspective, a new way of seeing old things, something that comes from the heart, something that is special and meaningful to you.
There will also be an audience vote for the best submissions.
Share your world, reality and experience with the rest of the world, so we can get to know each other better and marvel in the abundance of the universe.
