For thousands of years, people around the world have honoured the Solstice as a sacred turning point.
They gathered around fires, celebrated the abundance of the Earth, and gave thanks for the light that sustains all life.
They understood that the Solstice wasn’t just an astronomical event it was a reminder that life moves in cycles, that every season has its purpose, and that even at the height of the light, change is already beginning.
And as the sun reaches its highest point in the sky and pauses before beginning its slow return, something within us is invited to pause and choose our focus and where we wish to turn and shine our light as well.
Not to turn towards something grandiose.
Not to turn towards changing everything on our own.
But a turn towards a return to our inner wisdom, guidance and wholeness.
I pulled a card to ask which energy will best support us in the next six months – and the answer was: the healer’s energy.
The Healer knows that healing is not about fixing what is broken, because nothing essential is missing.
It’s about remembering our wholeness, our healed state and operating from there.
So, for today, just take a moment and imagine yourself, whole, healed.
See how there is nothing to fix.
Not in you, not in the world.
You are exactly who is needed right now.
You, exactly as you are.
Remember yourself, your love, your gentleness, and your compassion for all parts of yourself and for all there is in the world.
Look at yourself with wonder, and rediscover your magic, your beauty, your power.
This is an invitation to come home, to yourself.
The colour frequencies that currently surround us are part of the grey energy.
Grey energy is all about remembering that we are each a unique expression of the divine here on earth and inherently not worth more or less than anyone else, no matter how we are judged or what we have achieved or contributed or ever will.
Our existence alone is enough for us to be cherished and to be treated in the best possible way.
So, as we move forward on our ascension path, and as the frequencies rise on our planet, and for the human collective, we are reminded that peace starts with us. and that it is born from self-respect.
Grey energy invites you to remember that:
🌿 you do not create harmony by abandoning yourself
🌿 you do not create equality by placing yourself above or below another
🌿 you do not heal the world by waging war within your own heart
It asks you to remember and live your divinity and wholeness.
The word solstice comes from the Latin solstitium, meaning “the Sun stands still.”
And I would say this is the key hidden within this sacred day.
It invites you to stand still for a moment.
To breathe.
To remember.
To stand in the sacred centre where light and shadow meet.
Your past lies behind you, the future is in front of you, and the power to set the tone for the next six months, is in your hands, in your words, thoughts and your heart, right now.
You can set the tone for your life, today.
You can decide today:
🌸 To honour your own needs.
🌸 To meet yourself with kindness.
🌸 To choose peace over struggle.
🌸 To remember that every soul deserves dignity – including our own.
Because your life and true healing are not a battle – they are healing, peace and love in action.
And today you are invited to remember.
And to return home to your whole and divine self.
Ask yourself: Can I soften into the truth that love, equality, and self-respect are not things I must earn, but ancient seeds already planted within me, waiting for the right season to bloom?
And then allow yourself to let that season start today.
May the light of this Solstice illuminate what longs to grow, and may peace flow through you like a quiet river, blessing not only your own heart, but all those whose lives you touch. 💖
☀️🌿 The Midsummer Crown Ritual
A ritual for healing, peace, and remembering your place in the great circle of life.
You will need:
🌸 Flowers, grasses, or herbs gathered with gratitude (wildflowers, lavender, rosemary, mugwort, chamomile, yarrow, or whatever grows nearby)
🤍 A white or grey ribbon
💧 A bowl of water or a natural body of water
☀️ The Sun, the Earth beneath your feet, and a few quiet moments
Step 1: Gather the Gifts of the Earth
Take a slow walk and gather flowers or herbs that call to you.
As you do, remember that for thousands of years people have honored the Solstice by collecting plants believed to carry the blessings and healing energy of the season.
As you pick each flower or leaf, say softly:
“Thank you, Earth, for your beauty and abundance.
May I walk gently among all living things.”
Gather only what you need and leave an offering of gratitude – a blessing, a song, or simply your appreciation.
Step 2: Weave a Crown
As you weave your flowers together, think of each stem as a blessing.
A blessing of peace.
A blessing of self-respect.
A blessing of equality.
A blessing of healing.
With each flower, whisper:
🤍 I honour myself.
🤍 I honour all beings.
🤍 I choose peace.
🤍 I welcome healing.
Place the crown on your head, remembering that true sovereignty is not power over others, but living in harmony with yourself and the world around you.
Step 3: Walk Between Light and Shadow
If possible, walk barefoot on the earth.
Feel the warmth of the sun and the coolness beneath your feet.
Allow yourself to become aware that you are held between sky and earth, light and shadow, giving and receiving.
Say:
“I stand in the sacred center.
I need not strive.
I need not fight.
I belong.”
Stay there for a few moments and simply breathe.
Step 4: Bless the Waters
Dip your fingers into a bowl of water or into a stream, lake, or sea.
Imagine the water carrying away struggle, comparison, and the need to prove yourself.
Then sprinkle a few drops over your heart and forehead.
Say:
“May peace flow through me.
May I honor my own sacred needs.
May I meet all beings in dignity and respect.
May healing arise through love.”
Step 5: Receive the Blessing of the Sun
Turn your face towards the Sun.
Close your eyes.
Feel its warmth.
Imagine golden light filling your heart and spreading throughout your body.
And remember:
At the moment of greatest light, the Sun begins its journey home.
Nature does not cling to endless growth.
It trusts the cycles.
And so may you.
☀️ Solstice Prayer
Ancient Sun,
Keeper of the seasons and witness to all life,
Teach me the wisdom of balance.
Teach me the peace that comes through self-respect.
Teach me to walk neither above nor below another, but beside them.
May I heal without force.
May I love without losing myself.
May I honor the light and welcome the shadow, knowing both belong.
As the wheel turns, may I remember that I, too, belong to the great circle of life.
And may peace begin with me.
☀️🤍🌿
