Your Why: Motivation & Meaning (Field 6)
Yesterday you explored Field 5 — your unique way of creating.
Today, we will look at Field 6 – your motivation and deeper meaning – which also tells you something about your gift.
Understanding your why is crucial, in manifesting and life, as it gives your actions direction, energy, and lasting power.
And realizing that your why is also your gift, that you came to share with the world, and that drives and motivates you, and your unique way of contributing to the whole – may also help you understand the incredible value you hold and bring to everything that you do – already – just by being you.
If you like, take a moment to let that sink in.
And then imagine how you, like every single person on this planet, came with a message.
Something you naturally understand the importance of, as it is an important and inherent human quality that we each need, to thrive in life.
And so you tell people about it, whenever they face a problem. Sometimes they will listen, sometimes they won’t. Either way you try to be there for them in the best way you can.
If we’re honest though, most of the time people complain to complain – to feel heard and seen in their suffering – and not to change. In those instances people will not be able to receive your gift. That does not make it less valuable though.
And just imagine what would happen if we all did actually start to listen to each other, to take whatever another person offers as a reminder to activate these qualities in ourselves? To step into our power more, to remember who we truly are?
Without defences, without feeling like it’s too much effort, without judgement?
This is the choice we have to make to each day: Do we want to stay in our suffering or learn how to overcome it?
Because the answers are all here.
We each hold the answer to a problem.
We just have to begin to love ourselves so much that we allow ourselves to open to change – and stop thinking that it’s shameful to not know certain things – yet.
The Wheel of Colours shows this very clearly.
The first six fields of the Wheel of Colours reveal the colours, and the qualities they represent, that we have a natural understanding of, from birth or through our upbringing.
The last six fields show us the colours and fields we still have to learn about, and which we begin to fully integrate and embrace in adulthood, or most likely only in midlife, if we choose to start remembering our true selves.
So we are all the same in the way that we automatically know some things and not others.
As we each have a different colour contribution – this means that we can all learn from each other.
So start to value your gift, your message, as it can really help others.
And also, open up, consciously, to hear what others have to share, as you may benefit from it as much as they may benefit from what you have to share.
Once we see and acknowledge this – life can become a beautiful give and take.
Field 6 shows:
✦ Field 6 shows you your message, your gift.
✦ It points to the principles and values that guide your actions.
✦ When aligned, it fuels your Field 5 method naturally.
✦ When misaligned, you may feel drained, resentful, or disconnected when you try to do things.
Read the description for your colour below and reflect on how this motivation already shows up in your life.
Red – Red represents trust, passion and confidence. Your deeper motivation is to remind people that anything becomes possible when they believe in themselves and follow what they feel passionate about.
Green – Green represents focus, commitment and manifestation. You are driven to show people how powerful their intentions are, and how they can consciously focus their energy to create the life they desire.
Purple – Purple represents healing, completion and wholeness. Your motivation is to help people let go of what no longer serves them, and remember their innate wholeness and connection to the universe.
As you can see, beyond the way we create and take action in life, there is also something that deeply motivates us from within.
Each of us carries a natural understanding about certain aspects of life — insights that feel obvious or deeply true to us. Because of this, we often feel a natural desire to remind others of these truths as well.
Some people naturally encourage others to believe in themselves.
Some inspire others to follow their feelings or intuition.
Others help people focus, heal, connect, grow, or see life more clearly.
As you may begin to see, these impulses are not random. They reflect a deeper wisdom that lives within each one of us. They show you your gift, your contribution to the whole. And just like you, everyone has one. And you know this now.
How will this change your interactions with people?
In the Wheel of Colours, this deeper motivation is revealed through Field 6. This field reveals the message you naturally carry and the understanding you are here to share with others, and this is also what drives and motivates you to take action.
Often, this wisdom feels so natural to you that you may not even realize how valuable it is. Yet when you express it, it can guide, support, and inspire the people around you – if they are willing to listen.
But not only that, knowing and understanding your field six energy will also help you with your manifestations, as it shows you your why.
And when you align with that, things will flow a lot more naturally.
Exercises
Take a moment to reflect on the description of your colour and how this deeper motivation already shows up in your life.
You may want to explore these questions:
1. Where do you naturally share this message with others?
Think about conversations you often have, advice you tend to give, or topics you feel passionate about.
2. When in your life have you felt most aligned with this deeper motivation?
Was there a moment when expressing this wisdom felt especially natural or meaningful?
3. How could you allow this motivation to guide you more consciously?
Consider small ways you could express or share this understanding more often in your everyday life.
Write freely, without judgment.
Remember, this deeper motivation is not something you have to force.
It is simply a part of the wisdom you carry — and when you allow it to express itself naturally, it can inspire and support others, as well as your own creations and manifestations, in powerful ways.

Embodied Practice – Feeling Your Way
Sit comfortably.
Place one hand over your heart and one over your belly.
Close your eyes and think about what really matters to you in life. What are the topics that touch you? The causes you burn for?
Ask yourself: “Why is this so important to me?”
Notice the answer that comes up naturally — it might not be a word, it might just be a feeling.
Then think about the next thing you have to do/get to do. How could you see that as contributing to your why?
When you don’t see it as a task or an obligation but something that contributes to the well-being of all – does your feeling about the task change?
Breathe deeply for 2–3 breaths and let it settle.
Now let’s look at field 5 and 6 together.
The traditional creativity – how – colour is pink, the tradition gift – why – colour is white.
That means, if you have these two colours, you like to be innovative and creative in how you create, and love doing things in life that strengthen relationships, cause better understanding, or bring people together in one way or another.
Let’s say your creativity – how – colour is yellow, and your gift – why – colour is orange.
You like to feel love or loved, and follow your emotions, or you like to feel emotionally supported when creating, and you create to help people, or yourself, learn and grow.
If your creativity – how – colour is red, and your gift – why – colour is rose, then you need to trust yourself and be passionate about what you’re working on, and you’re doing whatever you are doing to help people discover their senses, and open their perception, and speak about what they perceive and feel.
Can you write this down for your colour combination?
If you need help, post your colour combination or question in the comment section below.
Ask a question or share about your experience
What came up when you learned about your gift, or when you journaled? How did the breathing exercise feel? What else would you like to share? Any questions?
