← CHAPTER OVERVIEW
What did we do this month?
Dear Creatrix,
How has this month been going for you?
How do you feel about your home now? Have you made peace with it and feel happy where you are, or do you want to move on to other places?
If you did realize that you want to move somewhere else, we will make a step-by-step plan for that in the next lesson (I do too, so I’m very excited about this!).
But before we plan our future, let’s review what we’ve learned, and before we review what we’ve learned, I would also like to mention the Wheel of Colours, as I have barely included that this month (because this was actually the very first chapter I created for the CREATRIX School, before I even started working with the Wheel of Colours – because architecture and living-sustainably are my true passion, and something I’m going to grow from now on).
In the introduction I asked you to read the article about the colour pink, however, as using our creativity and knowing when and how we love to create, is something that can really help and support us in this chapter. So I hope that inspired you along the way as well.
But you can use the other colours of the wheel very effectively in your home also. Green, the colour for healing, and creating, for example, brings life into every room. Whether it comes in the form of plants (which will also improve the air quality and bring health to you that way, NASA made a great study about that) or fabrics, pictures and paint.
You can also add yellow for warmth and feeling loved and supported, red, to feel strong and passionate, or blue to support your intuition and also your sleep.
In Feng Shui, blue is associated with water, red with fire and yellow with earth, which basically reflects the same qualities.
To me, that shows the universal truth of these teachings: no matter which part of the world they come from, they might have a slightly different focus and way of expressing things, but in their core they say and mean the same thing.
I’ve written articles about how to use all the different colours in your life most effectively, so check those out, if you’re interested – and do get your Wheel of Colours, if you don’t have it yet, to learn, for example, which colour you need to active to best express yourself creatively.
Now, let’s look back at what we’ve learned and accomplished this month.
Week 1
In the first week, I introduced you to the topic, and the colour for this month, and I shared this month’s playlist with you, and we started the chapter with an assessment of our current situation.
We asked ourselves: Where are we? Where do we live? Right now, and why, and how we feel about our homes.
We also looked at what a house or a home is, how they can have different shapes and forms in different parts of the world. Some homes can move, others are permanent, some have steep roofs, other flat roofs, some are built on the ground, others on poles and so on.
And we talked about our subconscious beliefs and what they have to do with our homes and how they can limit us in getting what we want, if we don’t bring them to our awareness.
Our home is one of the most important places when it comes to self-actualisation or becoming your highest, your qu_ing self.
Because what we see around us reflects back to us. So to create an environment that reflects and nourishes our soul is how we can stay focused, calm and resource ourselves well.
And the changes we create here are what reminds us of the changes that are possible in our lives.
So we took this first week to evaluate what is, to look at the things that bother us, and to simply bring to our awareness what we have and what we wish to change.
Great work!
