← CHAPTER OVERVIEW
LET’S MAKE PEACE WITH WHAT IS
Dear Creatrix,
How have you enjoyed the first week of this chapter of the CREATRIX School?
As I mentioned in the last lesson, I would like to share a story with you, or maybe it’s more of an image or metaphor and I first heard about it from Ken Honda, in an interview with Colette Baron-Reid on her Wooniverse podcast. You can listen to that episode here.
In it, he said that some people are on a bus because their parents have always travelled by bus, and they get on the bus in Japan (where he is from) but their destiny is to live in America (it might have been somewhere else, but you get the idea) – now if they keep riding the bus because it’s the mode of transport everyone they know uses, they can never get to their destiny.
And this is true for so many of us and why it’s not enough to just let things unfold as they are, if we want to find true happiness and fulfil our destiny.
We have to learn about new ways to get to where we are going, which are differnet from the ones everyone else has been using and that we grew up with, if our goals are not the same as those of previous generations.
Our future is ahead of us, and we can decide what we want it to look like.
But we have to choose consciously, our mode of transport, which is how we think, how we move and what we allow ourselves to try. And to be able to do that and for that, we have to find and overcome all the hidden assumptions we have, get clear about where we want to go and HOW we can actually get there.
And especially when it comes to our homes, and how we live, we really have to rethink what we want and care about, so we can have that in sustainable ways and live a peaceful future build on materials and resources that are renewable and affordable and to make these new ways available to all people – because if one suffers, we all suffer.
It’s why I created this course in a way that is super affordable, even though it is high-frequency information that I could sell for so much more – but I want for everyone, who would like to live a self-determined life to have access to it, so we can all level up and lift each other up together.
So, today we will lay the foundation to move on to the future we truly desire, and we begin that by making our peace with what is and what was.
And here, is my first question for you is: What did it feel like to go through your home and to see and think about the things you are not completely comfortable with and to also see and think about the ones you love?
Did this change anything for you already?
And then we will have a look at how we can resolve all issues we might have with your current homes.
