← CHAPTER OVERVIEW
How to set our intentions
Dear Creatrix,
How is your song or sacred agreement coming along? And have you connected to your CREATRIX Crew yet?
Today, we will look at the best ways for us to set our intentions, and that also means realizing and seeing that it’s beautiful that our intentions differ.
For this, we will start here: Most of us function well enough in society to be able to blend in, in some ways.
For some, who are differently abled, female, not neurotypical, or don’t belong to or look like the majority culture, it takes more effort, and it often feels like there is something wrong with us, when in reality, everything that makes us special is what makes us right.
We can’t all be perfect painters, but we need people to bless our lives with wonderful paintings. We can’t all be perfect singers, but we need people to bless our lives with songs. We can’t all be healers, but we all need someone who helps us heal sometimes.
We need teachers, inventors, trailblazers, conservationists, archivists, runners, explorers, writers, construction workers, pilots, we need all of us – and we need all of us to be different so that our world can work in all of its complexity.
We also need all of our experiences of racism, sexism, ableism, discrimination, abuse and war, hardship and suffering – to heal these aspects and what has created them in our collective consciousness.
It took me a while to come to terms with and understand that I have chosen all my hardships – to overcome them – and with that, to be able to help the collective overcome them as well.
Our souls volunteered to come to earth for this reason, so we can raise the vibration and the consciousness of the planet.
It’s a painful truth, but it is also a beautiful one as it is a representation of the incredibly compassionate and loving soul that you have, as you took on these challenges for the highest good of all.
And we have many tools to help us make this easier, now.
More and more people are learning about and practising sound healing, energy healing, yoga, meditation, breathwork. Just imagine how powerful we will be when we all come together.
When we understand that we can each contribute in our unique ways, by following our talents and interests and joy, and by honouring the perspectives and insights we’ve gained by overcoming our unique challenges, the Wheel of Colours, like astrology, numerology, human design, the tree of life or the enneagram can add important missing pieces, by showing us how each of us, as a unique individual works in different situations of our lives, it can open us to understand the lens through which we see and interact with the world in this lifetime.
It shows us what we need in new situations, what each of us needs to collaborate with other people, what we need to heal, what our most important lessons are, what we need to feel safe, what we need to feel respected, how we perceive our inner and outer truth, and it can remind us of the gifts we bring into this world, to share them with others.
Each person has a unique Wheel of Colours, a unique colour distribution in their lives, and once we know what that looks like, everything becomes easier.
And it is so beautiful to watch this in action.
A person I dated for a while, for example, came to teach about willpower, and I could see how she was bringing that up in discussions again and again.
I came to share about equality, diversity and justice, and I can and will easily bring that up in any conversation or moment. You see this in every blog post and all my teachings 🙂
Another person I met came to teach about relationships, and she lives for that, and that is quite beautiful to see as well.
I have to feel loved to feel safe, other people have to trust their intuition or listen to their emotions, or exercise their creativity to feel safe. We all need different things, we all bring different things to the table, and when we combine all our powers and beauty, the real magic begins.
Everything is needed. And so is everyone.
We need herbs and plants, and exercise, to eat well, to feel well, and to take care of ourselves and all the other things it takes to nourish our bodies.
We also need to do the inner work, to be free to react with a beginners mind and to not remain limited by our past and learned limitations.
And in the same way, when we’re ready – we also need to really openly and safely come together with others, so we can evolve further with the knowledge and support that each of us brings to the table to nourish our souls.
So when we come together and share our lives and our intentions, it’s important not to judge.
When other people set intentions that you think are too high – let them. If you think it’s impossible for them to reach their goals, work on yourself and see what you can do to support their intentions anyway. Maybe you will be surprised.
And if they don’t help them troubleshoot to see what they need to change to get there – and don’t just say I told you so. We’re here to help each other fly, not to prove a point.
When you think people set their intentions too low – let them. We are where we are, maybe they need to take one step at a time, and it’s much more useful to set your intentions on something you actually believe you can have, than on something you secretly believe won’t work anyway.
So, supporting each other’s intentions in a CREATRIX Crew is an ideal practice to be non-judgemental, to explore greater goals AND to accept each other for who we are and where we are.

So then, once we’re clear on that, let’s go a bit more into detail about what can be possible with intention setting because I do real…
